The Irish Rugby Football Union and Intersport Elverys have announced a new partnership that will see the nationwide chain of sports stores become the ‘Official Sports Retailer to the IRFU’ for the next three years.

 

Intersport Elverys have also been announced as the official sponsor to the Ireland 7s teams.  Today, at Intersport Elverys new state-of-the-art store on Henry Street, Dublin, the first ever jersey that has been designed in conjunction with Canterbury of New Zealand specifically for the Ireland 7s teams, has been revealed.

The new jersey will be worn by the Ireland Men’s and Women’s 7s teams in what is set to be a very big season for both sides.

The Ireland Men’s 7s will seek to qualify for the World Rugby World Sevens Series at the Global Repechage Tournament in Hong Kong on the 7^th and 8^th of April, while the Ireland Women’s 7s side will compete on the Women’s World Series for the third consecutive season.

Both sides will finish their season at the Sevens Rugby World Cup in San Francisco from the 20^th– 22^nd of July.
