A Look Ahead To The 2020 GAA Season

It’s hard to believe, but the 2020 GAA season is upon us. 2019 is behind us (apart from the All Ireland Club Championships) and all GAA supporters are dreaming of what might happen in the year ahead. League, Provincial and All Ireland glory could be on the horizon…or that’s the hope anyway.

Here at Intersport Elverys we’re part of the GAA fabric and are partnered with counties Mayo, Tipperary, Dublin, Sligo, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny and Waterford, so we’re really excited to see what the new season brings. We will take a closer look at some of the counties.

Mayo

As title sponsors of Mayo GAA, we were delighted to see the men’s senior team capture their first national title since 2001, after beating Kerry in the National League final and reaching the All Ireland semi final, as did the ladies team. They will both be hoping to go two steps further in 2020 and capture the All Ireland titles. We have a massive range of Mayo GAA gear available in-store and online including the Mayo LGFA jersey. 2020 could be a big year for the Mayo footballers, hurlers and ladies teams. Dublin

2019 was the first year that Intersport Elverys were the official retail partners of Dublin GAA and what a year it was for Dublin, with the men’s team capturing the 5 in a row and the ladies completing the 3 in a row. The men’s manager Jim Gavin has now stepped away and Dublin legend Dessie Farrell has stepped into the hot seat looking to drive the Dubs to 6 in a row. The men’s hurling and ladies camogie teams are ever improving and will be hoping for good summers. Here at Intersport Elverys we have a full range of Dublin jerseys to choose from, including the home LGFA and Camogie jerseys as well as the Dublin alternate jersey. Get ready for the season of GAA ahead and shop all Dublin GAA HERE. #TheNextChapter

Tipperary

Intersport Elverys are now official retail partner of Tipperary GAA after a number of great years as title sponsor. Tipperary hurlers will be looking to retain the Liam McCarthy after Liam Sheedy lead them to glory in his first year back. The footballers suffered an early exit from the Championship and will be looking to rebuild under new management. Here at Intersport Elverys we have the Tipperary jersey in all sizes to suit your family. Shop all Tipperary GAA HERE.

Limerick

Here at Intersport Elverys we’re also official retail partners of Limerick GAA. The Limerick hurlers are the current Munster and National league champions and will be hoping to reclaim the Liam McCarthy after losing to Kilkenny in the All Ireland semi final. The footballers lost out heavily to Cork in the Munster semi final and will be hoping for a better Championship tilt this year. Limerick have a unique jersey in that they have no sponsor present on them. Get both jerseys at Intersport Elverys now, as well as a full training range.
