Intersport Elverys Charity Partnership Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to the charity partnership proposal between Intersport Elverys and said charity. By submitting your entry, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Application process opens at 09.00 on Monday, 20th July 2020 (the “Opening Date”) and closes at 17.00 on Friday, 31st July 2020 (the “Closing Date”). No entries shall be accepted before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date. [Applications are limited to (1) entry per email address.] Applications not in accordance with the entry instructions are invalid.
  2. The Application process is open to registered Charities in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with national reach. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for applications that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever. The application process is specifically closed to employees of the Promoter, any associated companies, their families and anyone professionally involved in this promotion.
  3. 4.   NO purchase is required to enter this application process. Applications should be no more than a two-page proposal, or 2-3 min video answering the following questions:
  • What is the problem your charity is aiming to address?
  • How will a partnership with IE deliver a solution?
  • What can you achieve with the support of IE that you couldn’t without it?
  • What will your fundraising target be and how will the funds be utilised?
  • How will you ensure a sustainable legacy?
  • What would a calendar year of activity look like?
  • How will this partnership engage with IE staff and the wider sporting community?

  1. The benefits that the successful charity will avail of include:
  • A six-figure funding donation.
  • A schedule of rights, including unique association with the IRFU, Canterbury and Intersport Elverys brands which will allow your charity to raise awareness of your work and will provide additional fundraising opportunities including:
  • A Mascot place at a Senior Men’s Home International
  • 2 x tickets for each Senior Men’s Home International
  • Pitchside branding
  • Player appearances
  • Signed merchandise
  1. The successful application will be informed by the 10th of August. The Promoter’s decisions shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into. The successful application will be selected by a review panel and must align with the conditions below:
  • Be a registered charity in Ireland/NI with a national reach.
  • Be aligned to one or more of: sport, health, youth, education, social inclusion.
  • Use the partnership to create a tangible and lasting legacy.
  • Have an account manager to handle the partnership.
  1. The successful charity will be contacted by their phone number within 48 hours of being chosen. If the Winner cannot be contacted and does not respond within 48 hours of contact, the Promoter reserves the right to select another charity from the remaining eligible entries.
  2. The successful charity agrees to take part in any publicity at the request of the Promoter. By entering, entrants agree to the Promoter’s unrestricted use of any publicity for the Promoter’s own purposes in all activities including, without limitation, marketing and promotional activities worldwide including use on the Promoter’s websites, social networking platforms and national media.
  3. The Prizes may be altered or varied at the Promoter’s sole discretion and substituted with a prize which, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, is a suitable alternative. No cash alternatives are available. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up a part of the Prizes in the time frame outlined.
  4. The prizes must be used by charity for fundraising purposes, subject to approval of the Promotor.
  5. Personal data which is provided by you when you enter will be processed in a database for the purpose of managing entry into the application process only. By providing us with any personal information, you consent to the processing and storage of your personal information for this purpose. If you withdraw your consent, you will be withdrawn from the application process.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and/or cancel the application process at its sole discretion.
  7. The Promoter of this Competition is Staunton Sports Limited, whose registered office is ElverysSports Ltd. Head Office. Moneen Bradagh Ind Est, Moneen, CastlebarF23TE27, Co. Mayo.
  8. To the maximum extent permitted by law the Promoter and its related entities shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, ownership and/or use of the Prizes.
  9. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. Irish law governs this Competition and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
